We truly believe that individually tailored, person-centred care is essential for maintaining and improving quality of life. All of our residents receive excellent care, and this is reflected in the kind words they, and their families, have to share with us.
I just want to express how pleased I am with the support and service Steven is receiving at Britannia. It is evident that Steven’s needs have become increasingly challenging in recent weeks. While some homes may have provided notice, Britannia have been diligent in adapting their approaches and support to ensure Steven’s needs are safely met.
The support currently being provided is evidently higher than what is expected in residential EMI care. This being said, I know from the conversations we have had that the emphasis is on providing consistent and continuous care to Steven. It is clear that staff want to work collaboratively with services to explore all avenues in order to ensure Steven’s needs are best met. It is great to work with a care home who really do keep the person at the centre of everything they do.
